Freshwater - Saltwater - On-site Consultation

All prices quoted assume that the service will be performed within a 10 mile radius of Ocean Reef Aquatics. A mileage charge of $1.00 per mile (over the initial 10 miles - one way only - per visit) will be charged as per the delivery vehicle odometer.

If you pre-pay your contract for 1 full year at signing, a 10% discount is available. Just ask.

Freshwater

SERVICES PROVIDED:

• Water change (20-30%) using gravel vacuum.
• Test water for ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and pH
• Replace filter cartridges
• Algae-wipe the inside of the aquarium
• Polish exterior of aquarium
• Clean the ornaments and artificial plants
• Deliver and place any pre-booked plants, fish, and merchandise
• Clean and polish hardware (inside lighting fixtures, exterior of filters, etc.)

TWO VISITS PER MONTH:

• Each visit includes all services listed above PLUS:
  • Water polishing (micron cleaning) if necessary
  • Additional water change - if necessary

Monthly fee for a ONE YEAR contract – Freshwater

Two visits per month (recommended):
up to 80 gallons: $60.00 + $0.90 per gallon*
over 80 gallons: $60.00 + $0.70 per gallon*

One visit per month: $60.00 (base charge) + $0.35 per gallon*
 

One Time Visit - No Contract: $60.00 (base charge) plus $0.50 per gallon*

Saltwater

SERVICES PROVIDED:

• Partial water change if necessary
• Water replaced with R/O water - mixed with high quality marine salt
• Test water for ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH, calcium, and phosphate
• Check and adjust salinity
• Clean substrate
• Clean and adjust protein skimmer
• Clean and polish hardware (inside lighting fixtures, exterior of filters, etc.)
• Replenish depleted essential elements (Ocean Reef Aquatics provides the product - daily dosed elements
  excluded)
• Algae-wipe the inside of the aquarium
• Polish exterior of aquarium
• Clean all ornaments and artificial plants
• Deliver and place any pre-booked plants, fish, corals and merchandise

TWO VISITS PER MONTH:

• Each visit includes all services listed above PLUS:
  • Water polishing (micron cleaning) if necessary
  • Additional water change - if necessary

Monthly fee for a ONE YEAR contract – Saltwater

Two visits per month (recommended):
up to 80 gallons: $60.00 + $1.10 per gallon*
over 80 gallons: $60.00 + $0.90 per gallon*

One visit per month: $60.00 (base charge) + $0.45 per gallon*

One Time Visit - No Contract: $60.00 (base charge) plus $0.65 per gallon*

Service Options and Contract Pricing

Ocean Reef Aquatics can provide service to you in several ways:

ONE TIME VISIT: No contract, no obligation. This is perfect for the busy hobbyist, a quick cleaning right before a party, or when on vacation. Makes a GREAT gift!

CONTRACT: Here, we provide guaranteed, scheduled service once or twice a month at a lower price. Since prices are subject to change, contracts allow you to lock in prices for one year. Without a contract, service is performed as time permits.

NOTE: In order to be considered under contract, Ocean Reef Aquatics must have a signed agreement on file and receipt of first and last month’s service fee.

 For our customers under contract, we have a

30 Day FULL REPLACEMENT Livestock Guarantee*.

• This guarantee is valid as long as Ocean Reef Aquatics maintains the aquarium, stocks the fish on a cleaning visit, and when supplementation and feeding are performed as directed by the maintenance technician.
• All livestock and aquarium products must be purchased from Ocean Reef Aquatics. ANY deviation from these terms voids this guarantee. *30 Day Full Replacement Livestock Guarantee does not cover hard to keep or expert species from our Exempt Species list under Terms & Conditions.

Delivery and Complete Set-Up

Includes:

• Deliver and place tank, stand, equipment and gravel
• Ensure stand is level
• R/O water (with marine salt if necessary)
• Acclimate appropriate fish (ensure proper coral and live rock placement for reef tanks) and professionally aquascape

Freshwater: $60.00 (base charge) + $0.50 per gallon*

Saltwater: $60.00 (base charge) + $0.65 per gallon*

      Deluxe Delivery and Complete Set-up includes all services listed above (standard delivery and set-up), but may also include installation of custom plumbing, custom lighting, custom filtration, etc. Priced on a tank-by-tank basis

We'll Move Your Aquarium

Across the room, across town or across the Puget Sound!

Fee covers:

• Safe removal, transport, and acclimation of livestock (no guarantees on livestock survival)
• Breakdown of tank and equipment
• Set up tank and re-install equipment in new location
• External cleaning
• Collection and transport of original water - percent to be determined by technician (keeps tank bacterially sound, reduces stress on livestock)

Freshwater: $60.00 (base charge) + $1.50 per gallon*

Saltwater: $60.00 (base charge) + $2.50 per gallon*
 

Pond and Water Garden Service
 We do not build or install ponds, we will install and maintain pond equipment.

Pond and Water Garden Service is available and each pond will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for price.
