Blue Headed Butterflyfish have a white forebody with a vertical black bar across the eye, and a golden yellow body with a faint black and white bar behind the pectoral fins. They are named for the faint blue shadow on their foreheads. Blue Headed Butterflyfish are widely considered one of the easiest of the butterfly species to keep. They are peaceful towards other fish, but should not be trusted with corals. They should be fed a meaty diet with plenty of algae included.
